Description:
On August 1, 2024, at St. Mary's Senior Secondary School in Rampur, President-in-charge Nisha Khatana from the Anti-Romeo Squad addressed students about recognizing the difference between good touch and bad touch and staying safe from cybercrime. She shared essential phone numbers that can be contacted in case of emergency and stressed on the importance of reporting any suspicious activity immediately. The girl students were informed about online dangers such as phishing, banking fraud, cyberbullying, and photo-editing crimes. She also encouraged the students to keep their personal information private and be cautious on social media. She emphasized trusting their instincts, speaking up if they feel uncomfortable, and maintaining open communication with their parents and teachers. The session aimed to empower students, especially the girls, with the knowledge and resources needed to stay safe.
