The pupil must arrive at the school at least five minutes before the first bell.
Students must be clean and tidy in their person, dress and manners. They must wear the correct school uniform daily. Children who are dirty in their dresses or person or without the school uniform will not be permitted to sit in the class. Applying Mehndi, Kajal and the Hair Cut of different styles are strictly forbidden.
The students should always keep their books clean and well covered. Scribbling on books, desks, wall etc. Is strictly forbidden. It shows as want of good breeding and is highly prejudicial to the good tone of the school. The student who has damaged desks, tables etc will be fined accordingly.
The school is not responsible for articles lost. It is forbidden to bring valuable articles like expensive watches, electronic things, mobiles, fountain pens, gold ornaments etc to the school. Those who wear finger rings and gold chains etc will be fined with Rs. 100/-
No books (other than text & Library books) or periodicals may be brought to the school premises without the Principal’s sanction.
No child is allowed to leave the class room without the teacher’s permission and the school premises without the permission of the Principal. No pupil will be called to answer phone calls during the class hours.
No collection for any purpose whatever is to be started and no meeting, demonstration, party, excursion, picnic to be organised without the prior permission of the Principal.
Absence from any examination will ordinarily be allowed only on medical grounds if it is supported by a medical certificate from registered practitioner. This should invariably be accompanied by a covering letter from the parent indicating the full name, class and section of the student concerned.
Hair styles must be suited to school girls. Hair should either be bobbed or plaited. Strict action will be taken to those who cut their hair according to their whims and fancies. The unnecessary usage of hair pins are also forbidden (if needed only two).
Pupils are expected to come to school provided with all that is necessary for the day’s work. Borrowing or lending of pens, pencils, erasers, rulers etc is discouraged.
No child will be excused from games, drill etc unless Medical Certificate is produced. Those pupils availing themselves of the exemption must remain with the other students.
No entrance for motor vehicles to the school compound is allowed. Cyclists are strictly forbidden to ride in the school compound.
The students are expected to converse in English in the School Premises. Refinement of manners, habit of obedience, order and neatness in person, dress and punctuality are required at all times.

RESPONSIBILITY OF HEAD GIRL, SECRETARY, CAPTAINS AND VICE CAPTIONS

“A Leader is one who knows the way, shows the way, and goes the way.” “For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.” Luke 12:48

Perfects are wholly responsible for the observation of school discipline and code of conduct of the students of the classes assigned to them.
They must get the students in line for the Morning Assembly and see that silence is maintained. They must also see that the students disperse from the Assembly ground in perfect discipline/Silence.
They must check to see whether the students have correct uniform, clipped finger nails, clean socks and shoes, hair properly combed.
They must take charge of their respective classes while the staff is engaged in a meeting.
They must check latecomers, and maintain cleanliness of the surroundings during the recess.
They ought to take charge of their respective classes after the recess is over until the teacher comes to class. If the teacher does not reach the class within 5 minutes, they should leave the class under the care of the class monitor and report the same to the Principal.
Students carrying mobiles to school will be issued a pink- card and the mobile will be confiscated. A fine of Rs 500/- will be Charged. Parents will be informed of the same.

REPORT CARD AND PARENTAL CO-OPERATION

Report Cards on pupils progress are issued by the school only after the final examination. The parents are requested to meet the class teachers, subject teachers etc periodically to know the progress and behavior pattern of the students. Parents are requested to note that steady and serious study at home is necessary for success.
The parents or guardian’s will kindly read the rules thoroughly and sign them. Their attention is specially drawn to the Rules regarding discipline, reports, attendance and Parental co-operation, Examination and Payment of fees.
The diary should be brought to school everyday. Parents should carefully go through the Diary daily and sign the Remarks.
Parents /Guardians or other persons are not allowed to see the children or meet their teacher during the school hours without the sanction of the Principal.
Parents/Guardians are strictly forbidden to see the teachers or pupils in their class room. The parents/ guardian are allowed to visit the class and speak to the class/ subject teachers on second Saturday only. The parents are in fact expected in the school every month on second Saturdays only.
Private tuitions are strongly discouraged. If there is a real need, written permission is required from the Principal to engage a tutor at home. Teachers are not ordinarily allowed to give tuition to pupils who are taught by them.
No party or demonstration in honors of a teacher or presentations of gifts is permitted without the Principal prior permission.
Parents are expected to co-operate in the work of the school by enforcing regularity and discipline and by taking general interest in the children’s progress.
The school will insist on strict punctuality, regular school attendance, cleanliness and dress, good grooming and fidelity to study and work assignment. Absence from school for merely social functions will be strongly discouraged.
Students namely class IX- XII with less than 75% of attendance will not be allowed to appear for the Board examination as per the CBSE bye laws.

RULES FOR SCHOOL LIBRARY

Silence is to be observed in the Library and reading room. Books issued are to be properly looked after and deposited on the due date.
A student can borrow only one book at a time.
A student may ordinarily have a copy of a book for a week and the issue may be renewed further for the same period. No book that is in great demand shall be lent for more than a week.
Books will be issued to students during the library periods mentioned in the time table and if possible in free periods and also before and after the school hours. No books will be issued or returned during the teaching hours.
Reference books will not be issued. Every student will be allowed to consult any reference book during the school hours.
The librarian may call for a book at any time even if the normal period of loan has not expired.
If the date of issue or return of books happens to be a holiday, both the issue or return of books shall stand postponed to the next working day.
If the book is not returned at the expiry of the period of loan or after the librarian has called for it even with in the period of loan, a fine of Rs. 1/- per day of delay will be charged. Fine shall be collected by the Librarian and the fact notified in the defaulter’s card. Until such a fine is collected from defaulter , no books shall be issued to her.
Absence is no excuse for delay in return of the books after the expiry of the period of loan.
In case a book is misused, wrongly handled, or lost the person concerned will have to pay the full price of the books.
All markings , underlining, annotating or defecting of book by any means are strictly forbidden. Fines shall be levied for violating this.
Members shall carefully examine the book as soon as it is issued to them. Any mark (soil, damage etc.) shall be forthwith reported to the Librarian.
Issuing of the books shall be stopped by the 1st of December and 1st April and return of the books shall be completed by 10th December and 10th May every year. This helps an annual stock taking and checking.
Students will not be allowed with their personal work or bags in the library. Only note book will be allowed with the permission of the Librarian.
No magazine or periodicals will be issued to the students to take their homes. They are requested to read the same inside the Library.

SCHOOL LABORATORIES

Laboratory equipment is expensive and so it must be handled carefully. When equipment is given to the students for experiments , it must be handed back to the teacher in-charge before leaving the laboratory.
No laboratory items should be removed without the prior permission of the teacher in-charge.
In case of loss discovered but not owned up for willful breakage or serious damages, Individual student or groups will have to pay the expense of repair and replacement. No chemicals should be taken out of the laboratory.
Students should enrich the laboratory with their own keen interest and denote useful items of their experiments to be kept in the laboratory.

RESPONSIBILITY OF MONITOR

Special attention is paid by the class teacher in choosing suitable monitors. Name are submitted to the Principal at the beginning of each year.
Monitors must be exemplary in conduct and industrious in their studies.
They must be able to command respect in the class.
They are chosen for all assistance in the class, e.g. Maintaining discipline, collecting or distributing books, the cleanliness and neatness of the class room and to check and report any damage done.
They must clean the blackboard with duster immediately after each period.
The Monitors. Specially in the higher classes, will write each day on the blackboard, the date, and the number of students present out of the total strength of in the class.
Monitors are made to realize that to be a monitor is a special privilege and honor. To betray the trust, and confidence reposed in them is to commit a most degrading act.
It is incumbent on all Monitors to report to the Principal, the teacher in charge or the class teachers, any breach of discipline noticed even during the recess.
In the event of a teacher being absent, they must inform the Principal within the first five minutes of the commencement of the period. In the mean- time, the prefects can start revision of the subject in the class.
In the absence of the class Monitor the other monitor shall function in the same capacity.
